Jeff and Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center

A Place to Learn

The facility is unique to Iowa State and nearly all of the Midwest, allowing animal-human interaction through teaching laboratories, outreach activities and a variety of functions for future and current students.

As a keystone in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ efforts to train students for a diverse set of opportunities in animal science, agriculture and related fields, the center also provides an inviting environment for recruiting young people interested in learning more about the diverse career opportunities in these fields.

Education continues when the students leave the classroom. A wide variety of student organizations use the facility to conduct meetings, host events, and network. The Hansen Center employs several Iowa State University students from a variety of majors and backgrounds.

In addition, the facility hosts a variety of events outside Iowa State University, such as business meetings, formal dinners, and private celebrations. The center is truly versatile in it's capabilities and an outstanding place to have an event.
